Scania diesel generators from 250 kVA to 700 kVA

GenTech SA supplies Scania-powered diesel generators for commercial, industrial and high-capacity standby applications. The corrected 250–700 kVA range uses confirmed DC09, DC13 and DC16 engine data, with SmartGen automatic control and ATS / automatic mains-failure changeover included as standard.

Heavy-duty commercial & industrial power

Scania generator sets in this range can be considered for factories, manufacturing facilities, large commercial properties, logistics operations, institutions and other applications where substantial three-phase standby capacity is required.

Correct generator sizing matters

High-capacity generator selection should account for running kW, motor and compressor starting current, load sequencing, power factor, altitude and future expansion. GenTech SA can review the application before finalising the generator size.

ATS / AMF & solar-ready control

SmartGen automatic control and ATS / AMF are standard on GenTech SA generator builds. Solar-ready operation can also be configured where the site controller requires generator support or battery charging.

Scania DC09, DC13 & DC16 engines

The current GenTech range uses confirmed Scania DC09 engines at 250–300 kVA, DC13 engines at 350–450 kVA and DC16 V8 engines from 500–700 kVA.

Service, repairs & parts

GenTech SA provides scheduled servicing, repairs, technical support and generator parts after supply. Planned maintenance is especially important for high-capacity standby generators that must be ready when an outage occurs.

Nationwide & export enquiries

Scania generator delivery enquiries are welcome throughout South Africa and selected African export markets, with transport, positioning and project scope confirmed at quotation stage.
