A restricted-access generator installation in central Benoni, assembled in its final secure position and used alongside the client’s existing smaller generator.
The client needed additional standby power but there was not enough access to move a complete 30 kVA generator into the available secure area. Leaving the generator outside was not suitable because of the risk of battery and cable theft.
GenTech SA brought the generator components to site and assembled the 30 kVA set in its final position. The client retained the existing smaller generator for lighter loads such as lighting and tills, while the 30 kVA generator is used when higher-demand kitchen and food-preparation equipment must operate.
